Cost of Living

Cost of living in Thailand is 33.51% lower than in United States (aggregate data for all cities,
rent is not taken into account). Rent in Thailand is, on average, 61.33% lower than in United States.

Bangkok
According to Mercer’s 2020 Cost of Living Survey, Bangkok is the 35th most  expensive city for expats.
However 
Bangkok is inexpensive compared with costs in major metropolitan areas around the world,
including capital cities in Asia.
