Import and Export Standards

Importing and Exporting Restricted Goods required specific standards. Restricted Goods are goods
of which the imports and exports are restricted by law and therefore require a permit from related
government agencies. The permit must be presented during Customs formalities. Examples of
restricted goods are as follows:


Buddha image, artifact/objects, antique
Responsible Agency: Fine Arts Department
                                  

Guns, bullets, explosives, and the equivalents to guns
Responsible Agency: Department Of Provincial Administration, Ministry of Interior                                  

Plants and their parts
Responsible Agency: Department of Agriculture                                 


Living animals and carcass 
Responsible Agency: Department of Livestock Development                                


Food, medicine, cosmetics and food supplements
Responsible Agency: Food and Drug Administration  
                                   

Vehicle parts
Responsible Agency: Ministry of Industry

                               

Cigarettes, tobacco and alcoholic beverages
Responsible Agency: Excise Department                                 


Communication Radio Devices and telecommunications equipments
Responsible Agency: Office of The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission
